Over the years, Moose Pharmacy has focused on providing our customers and community with certain standards of care. Our organization has focused on accuracy, quality, convenience, price, and customer service.  

After much reflection and self-evaluation, we have realized that we have fallen short in one important area:  

Coolness.  

Our pill bottles, while extremely functional, safe, and easily recycled, just lack a certain “cool” factor that many pharmacies in the 19th and early 20th century had going for them. They don’t look pretty when placed in cabinets and high shelving units, and this is a problem that we must deal with to move forward.  

This is why, as of April 1, 2022, we are switching to glass bottles here at Moose Pharmacy.  

Glass bottles have a number of benefits and come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. Thick bottles can be embossed with our Moose Pharmacy logo so that you always remember the trustworthy pharmacists you love,right around the corner.

While we realize that some customers may not prefer their medication in liquid form, we believe that the trade-off is worthwhile and that, in the long run, the aesthetic qualities of these vintage bottles will pay off. Bottles that once held antibiotics can now be up cycled into lovely planters or used to hold shampoo, water, cleaners, and more once a treatment course is finished.   

Another useful aspect of these glass bottles includes the cork or rubber lids that can be used for crafting purposes.
